Just as in previous years, Brain Products sponsored a “Young Scientist Award”, granted to a young researcher for an outstanding paper. This year’s winner was Thomas Schreiner (University of Zurich), who recently received the award at the annual meeting of the German Society for Basic and Applied Psychophysiology.

This year’s winner was Dr. Sven Hoffmann (Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors), who recently received the award at the annual meeting of the German Society for Basic and Applied Psychophysiology.
The MoBI Award was designed to recognize excellence in the field of Mobile Brain/Body Imaging research. Taking your research out of the lab and into the real world is no easy feat and Brain Products wants to encourage and reward scientists who are doing so. On July 7, 2016 Dr. Jorge Cardoso received the “UCL-CNT Early Career Investigator Award in Neuroimaging Techniques 2015” at University College London (UK). Endowed with prize money of £500, this young scientist award was presented for the first time in 2007 and since then has been proudly sponsored by Brain Products.
The 12th Biannual Conference of the German Cognitive Science Society took place in Tuebingen (Germany), attracting approximately 300 scientists. Brain Products sponsored awards for the best papers. Here are the winners.
The 6th Int. BCI Conference took place from September 16 – 19, 2014 (Graz University of Technology, Austria). This year’s conference theme was “The Future of Brain-Computer Interaction: Basics, Shortcomings, Users”. About 200 researchers from 35 nations participated; Brain Products sponsored Best Talk and Best Poster Awards.
