The 12th Biannual Conference of the German Cognitive Science Society (KogWis 2014) took place in Tuebingen (Germany), attracting approximately 300 scientists. Brain Products sponsored awards for the best papers. The first prize – a cheque in the amount of 250 Euro – was handed over to Bettina Bläsing from Bielefeld University.
For some years now Brain Products has been participating in the Biannual Conference of the German Cognitive Science Society. This year it was held at the renowned Eberhard Karls University in Tuebingen from September 29 to October 2. The conference offered interesting talks on current problems in cognitive science that were presented in parallel sessions as well as in different key lectures. Moreover, a poster presentation induced discussions between young and experienced scientists. Much to the excitement of the young researchers, prizes were awarded in a festive event at the closing conference night. Brain Products sponsored cheques and certificates for the three best papers. The first prize included a splendid crystal trophy.
The winners are:
- Bettina Bläsing, Jenny Coogan, José Biondi, Liane Simmel, and Thomas Schack
