Who is who…?! – New team members at Brain Products

Anne joined the Brain Products team as an HR Manager in April 2024. She is an accomplished HR professional with over two decades of experience in this field. Before joining Brain Products, Anne was an HR Specialist at OPEN MIND, where she focused on recruitment and personnel development. Prior to that, she was Training Manager for technical and commercial trainees.

Anne spent more than 20 years at Bain & Company, where she worked in recruiting, onboarding, training, performance appraisal and handling special HR projects and exit processes, including alumni relations.

Christian joined the Brain Products team as a Production Specialist in February 2024.

He is a trained orthopedic technician and before joining Brain Products he worked in production for level measurement technology (probe construction), sensor technology (hand probes) and optical lasers (photon counters). Christian brings a lot of experience and know-how with him and knows what level of precision and fine motoric skills are required when manufacturing “sensitive” products.

Filip has many years of experience in various areas of production. Before joining Brain Products, he worked in production, maintenance and most recently as deputy branch manager at a renowned German electronics company. His responsibilities in this position included customer advice and support as well as the installation, commissioning and repair of electronic devices.

Filip joined us as a Production Specialist already about a year ago and since then he has become a very important member of the production team. E.g. his efforts and commitment were and are essential in finding always the best component suppliers.

Since 2010, Paulo has been working in the field of neuroscience, mainly on interdisciplinary research projects using neuroimaging or neurophysiology techniques, in particular functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG) and near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). In 2023 he completed his PhD at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil, where he studied brain activity during cooperation in a hyperscanning experiment.

Before joining Brain Products, Paulo was a research assistant at the Brain Institute of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (in São Paulo, Brazil) involved in research projects with neuroimaging and neurophysiology techniques to study cognition and behavior in healthy volunteers and in clinical populations. Paulo was also a freelance scientific consultant for Brain Support, Brain Products’ distributor in South America.

Since March 2024, Paulo has been supporting our sales team as a scientific consultant, happily providing assistance to distributors and customers in defining the best solutions for their research needs.

Alexandra joined the Brain Products sales team as a scientific consultant in April 2024.

She earned her master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Simultaneously, she worked as a research assistant in several labs at the same university, providing scientific support and training to new researchers and managing diverse research projects. In her research, she primarily used EEG to study the neural correlates of contextual decision-making and neural entrainment but also conducted studies using fMRI, eye-tracking, and VR.
