by Stefanie Rudrich
Team Leader of Operative Marketing (Brain Products)

Having a qualified, reliable and committed team is a key factor for staying successful as a company. Just like continuously successful sports teams are proud of their “new signings”, we are proud of ours and would like to briefly introduce our newest team members to you.

Scientific Support: Laura Leuchs, M.Sc.

In July 2018 Laura Leuchs, M.Sc. joined our Scientific Support Team as Scientific Consultant. Alongside her SciSup-Colleagues, she will mainly provide our BrainVision Analyzer 2 users with support related to software and data analysis questions as well as scientific issues. For sure, you will also have plenty of opportunities to meet Laura in person at conferences/workshops or online – during our BrainVision Analyzer 2 webinars.

Laura studied Psychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich (Germany), finishing her Bachelor’s in 2011 and her Master’s in 2013. For the past 5 years she was enrolled at the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences of the LMU, pursuing her PhD in Neuroscience. She conducted her research in the psychophysiology project group and the neuroimaging core unit of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry (Munich, Germany), investigating fear learning in healthy and psychiatric populations. The topic of her doctoral thesis was “Tracking fear learning with pupillometry: psychophysiological and neuroimaging investigations” and she expects to officially receive her PhD degree shortly.

Welcome to the team, Laura!

Scientific Support: Bastian Schledde, M.Sc.

Also in July Bastian Schledde, M.Sc. joined our Scientific Support Team as Scientific Consultant. Just like Laura, he will mainly provide our BrainVision Analyzer 2 users with support related to software and data analysis questions as well as scientific issues. For sure, you will also have plenty of opportunities to meet Bastian in person at conferences/workshops or online – during our BrainVision Analyzer 2 webinars.

Bastian has a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrueck (Germany) and a Master’s in Neurosciences from the University of Bremen (Germany). The topic of his masters thesis was “Investigation of dynamic attention modulation using multielectrode recording in monkey area MT”. Before joining Brain Products, he was a Research Associate at the Brain Research Institute in Bremen. His research efforts there focused on neurophysiological principles of higher cognitive brain functions, particularly the mechanism governing motion perception in relation to visual attention and behavioral performance.

Welcome to the team, Bastian!
