Co-operation with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences

by Dr. Patrick Britz
Marketing Director (Brain Products)

We are very happy to announce that we recently signed a co-operation framework with the Research Centre for Natural Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Roland Csuhaj and I traveled to beautiful Budapest to visit Valéria Csépe, who is a Research Professor and Presidential Trustee of the Brain Imaging Centre and Dr. György Miklós Keserű who is the General Director of the Research Centre for Natural Sciences.

We signed a co-operation framework to work together in the field of Multimodal Imaging. The framework enables us to work together on new research methods and the development of new solutions. The Brain Imaging Centre recently acquired a Siemens Magnetom Prisma 3T MR scanner. Having the latest technology will allow us to push the edge of research further.

Another important aspect of the co-operation is to highlight and expand the institute’s role as a leader in neuroscience education for Hungary and the neighboring countries.

Brain Products is delighted to have joined these efforts. While it was my first time in Budapest, Roland has lived and studied there. Roland was particularly happy about this co-operation as Professor Csépe is his former PhD advisor.

We are looking forward to a fruitful and exciting co-operation.
