New Citation Feature in BrainVision Recorder 1.23.0001

by Dr. Christina Florence Lavallée
Strategic Product Manager (Brain Products)

We love seeing our hardware and software being used to make great neuroscientific discoveries. We are consistently impressed with the amazing research that is being conducted with Brain Products equipment. This is why we are always on the lookout for the latest articles published by our customers and sharing them on our social media channels.

BrainVision Recorder 1.23.0001 comes with a simple tool to make citations fast and easy

Here’s how it’s done:

(1) Download and install BrainVision Recorder 1.23.0001 or later
(2) Go to “Help” > “How to Cite Us” to get example citations for how to cite our hardware and software.
The amplifier family written in the citation is based on the amplifier you have selected in BrainVision Recorder.
Note: Modify the citation accordingly if you are using a special version of the amplifier – for example, BrainAmp MR, DC or ExG.

From here, you can copy and paste the citation directly or send it to the clipboard.

Are you using BrainVision Analyzer for EEG preprocessing analysis?

We will have the “How to Cite Us” feature implemented in the next release of BrainVision Analyzer, but until then, here are example citations for the current version:

In text citation:
(BrainVision Analyzer, Version 2.2.0, Brain Products GmbH, Gilching, Germany)

Reference section:
