The newly released CGX Quick Systems have been updated to include live impedance checking by means of LEDs, as well as improvements in design and wearability. In addition, we put together a bundle including the new Quick Systems and BrainVision Recorder for CGX. If you’ve recently purchased a Quick System and would like to upgrade, we are offering trade-in and loyalty programs.
In this guide, our users Nina-Alisa Hinz and Dr. Carolina Pletti (Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universität München, Germany) provide a detailed walkthrough showing how to use the R-Net — Brain Products sponge-based electrode system — in studies with infants.
Introducing Tobii hardware and software: the perfect complement to your EEG and eye tracking research
As an extension of our multimodal offering, we’ve partnered with Tobii Pro to offer you high-grade screen-based and wearable eye tracking systems for your combined EEG & eye tracking research.
Combining EEG and eye tracking can open new possibilities for your EEG analysis. In this article, we will mention important aspects to consider when planning your EEG & eye tracking experiment, and we show step by step how you can set up lab-based recordings with our actiCHamp Plus EEG amplifier and the Tobii Pro Spectrum eye tracker.
This first part of the hyperscanning series introduces our current gold standard hardware solution for this application: the BrainAmps. Combining multiple BrainAmps allows using separate ground and reference channels for each participant and provides perfect clock synchronization in a single EEG recording file.
The sound of silence: an EEG study of how musicians time pauses in individual and joint music performance
We recently investigated how musical partners resolve unmeasured expressive silences in musical interaction. Partners resolved shorter silences more synchronously than longer silences; partners also displayed enhanced neural markers of motor preparation for shorter relative to longer silences. Thus, shorter silences in interaction may facilitate interpersonal coordination.
The latest news on dongles: upgrade your old Analyzer 2 key today and learn about our new license update portal
License dongles have always been used for our various Brain Products software. As both dongle technology and software evolve, we recently changed the dongle policies for BrainVision Analyzer 2. Additionally, we switched to a new license management system which will make updates for all our software dongles even easier.
Are you looking for extensions for BrainVision Analyzer 2? They are called Solutions! Scientists from various fields of research use them to tweak Analyzer to their needs. Analysis of non-EEG sensor data, sleep data, single trials and time-frequency domain exports are only some examples where users can benefit from our solutions.
Here are 2 quick tips on “Disinfection Concentrates” and “Preventing a Deep Discharge of your Amplifier Batteries.” These are general reminders, but especially notable during the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
Brain Products will be attending or hosting the following events from April to July 2021. Please stop by or sign up, say hello and take the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about our application solutions or discuss your research and neuroscience requirements.
