Logo Brain Products UKBrain Products UK Ltd is part of the wider Brain Products family, a network of subsidiaries and affiliates across Europe, North America and Asia, all driven by the same ethos: delivering complete, integrated solutions, unbiased scientific consultation, and reliable, long-term support for researchers.

How it all began

Brain Products UK Ltd was established in January 2017 by Brain Products GmbH, with a clear mission: to provide researchers across the United Kingdom and Ireland with direct and reliable access to the full range of Brain Products solutions, combined with a level of local support and consultation that matched the high scientific standards of the researchers we serve. What started as a small, agile team of two in a Reading office has now evolved into a dedicated and knowledgeable team recognised today as one of the most trusted suppliers of neuroscience research solutions in the region.

Our local services include specialist consultation, on-site support, and tailored training to ensure that every researcher, from new PhD students to senior PIs, can make the most of their equipment.

Today, we continue to strengthen Brain Products’ long-standing connection with leading academic centres, NHS research facilities, and commercial innovation hubs in fields ranging from cognitive neuroscience and clinical research to sports science and human-computer interaction.

Growing services, expanding reach

From our UK headquarters, the team now supports hundreds of research labs across the UK and Ireland. With increasing calls for multimodal data acquisition, combined EEG, fNIRS, stimulation, eye tracking, peripheral physiology, imaging technologies, and facial expression, our role has grown far beyond just EEG equipment. We work alongside researchers to design complete experimental setups, ensure compatibility across multiple techniques, and help labs build reliable and scalable research pipelines.

As with all other subsidiaries, we collaborate with and distribute a range of products from trusted manufacturers. In addition to Brain Products’ solutions, we provide equipment from reliable partners. This portfolio allows us to recommend complete solutions rather than just individual components. Science-first support: a team of researchers supporting researchers

Our UK & Ireland team is built on scientific expertise. Our consultants come directly from research backgrounds including neuroscience, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, and clinical neurophysiology. We have accumulated decades of combined experience in both experimental design and equipment support, and we understand the challenges of working with complex setups in real lab environments.

Looking ahead

As neuroscience continues to push into exciting new territories, such as mobile and wearable EEG, virtual and augmented reality experiments, hybrid neuroimaging, machine learning applications, hyperscanning, AI-driven analysis, and ever-more sophisticated multimodality, our responsibility grows with it.

We are investing more than ever in training events, workshops, webinars and on-site visits. Our goal remains the same: to know not only our technologies inside out, but also how they integrate seamlessly into real-world research workflows.

Get in touch

If you are based in the UK or Ireland and are planning a new project, building a new lab, or upgrading your current setup, we are here to help you. Whether you want to

  • talk through experimental design
  • explore multimodal acquisition options
  • or simply get to know the latest innovations in EEG and related technologies

we welcome you to reach out.

You can contact our team by phone, email, or by booking a meeting at a time that works for you. You can also meet us at upcoming conferences, workshops and training events. We always look forward to connecting with researchers in person.
