Brain Products and Shenzhen Hanix celebrating 20-years’ partnerships with multiple joint activities in 2025

Connecting with researchers and being inspired by their striving for discoveries and progress in the understanding of the human brain is one of the top driving forces at Brain Products. Thanks to our certified distributors we have the opportunity to meet researchers all over the world and together drive innovation. This year marks 20 years of partnership with Shenzhen Hanix and together we plan several initiatives to celebrate all the valuable connections with the Chinese research community.
This year, in particular, we celebrate 20 years since the very first ERP Workshop organized with Shenzhen Hanix in China, which marked the start of our valuable and trustworthy relationship with the local Chinese research community. Since then, Shenzhen Hanix and Brain Products have organized 17 workshops together annually, in every corner of the beautiful Chinese territory, to share the most advanced insights on solutions and methods in different fields and applications.

After a few years pause due to the worldwide socio-economic situation, Shenzhen Hanix and Brain Products successfully resumed the annual joint workshop again in October 2024 in Shijiazhuang. For the first time, the workshop “Cutting-edge EEG: real-world and real-time applications” was organized with the support of the Brain Products Academy. As the title suggests, it focused on the latest solutions and methodologies in the fields of mobile EEG (real-world) and closed-loop applications (real-time). Researchers and students from all over the country gathered over the course of this three-day event to attend scientific lectures, product and setup demonstrations, and hands-on data analysis exercises.

The event was greatly appreciated by the local community, who enthusiastically requested more frequent meetings in the future. Now that we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of our partnership, we can think of no better way to celebrate than to connect and support the research community through additional tailored activities in 2025.
In the first week of March 2025, a team of representatives from both Brain Products and Shenzhen Hanix kicked off the games with a roadshow in the Southwest and Eastern China regions to present the most recent solutions for mobile and real-world investigations, such as the new Sensor and Trigger Extension (STE compact) and Mobility Set for LiveAmp.

The next appointment in the pipeline will see representatives from Brain Products joining Shenzhen Hanix at the Cognitive Neuroscience Symposium 2025 in Huangshan (Anhui Province) on April 26th-27th. The event, organized by the Anhui Medical University together with the Guangdong Society for Cognitive Science and Huangshan University, is an annual meeting where experts and students in the neuroscience and inter-disciplinary fields have the chance to meet, present cutting-edge results and technological innovations, and exchange ideas for future research directions. At this occasion, Shenzhen Hanix and Brain Products will host a satellite workshop on TMS-EEG best practices and closed-loop applications on Friday, April 25th.
