Mobile Brain/Body Imaging (MoBI) Award 2017

by Dr. Thomas Emmerling

MoBI Award 2017Brain Products proudly announces its Mobile Brain/Body Imaging (MoBI) Award! The MoBI Award will be an annual award recognizing excellence in various fields of Mobile Brain/Body Imaging research and will be presented for the first time in Fall 2017.

The MoBI field is growing quickly. New technology has made it possible to record EEG and other measurements from freely moving subjects and in real life situations. The new field is growing with the technical possibilities. The number of publications in the field has doubled in the last two years, so has the number of members of the MoBI Society. Also other research topics are pushing into more real life situations. With this award our aim is to benefit the mobile brain and body imaging field and to give an additional platform to push research.

Like announced in our last newsletter, we discussed the MoBI Award with experts from the MoBI community at the “Your Brain On Art” conference in Cancun (Mexico) and the SPR 2016 in Minneapolis (USA). Together we defined the criterion which submissions will be judged and the prizes for the award.

And although we are still finalizing the details, we are excited to present the facts:

Research Fields

Contributions from the field of Mobile Brain/Body Imaging research will be accepted, e.g.:

▶ MoBI in sports
